Director led construction
15 years delivering complex commercial projects in live environments: hospitals, industrial facilities, retail centres, education. Played a key role in growing a construction business from startup before founding VelpasConn.
18 years in construction, starting on the tools at 16. Recent career focused on major rail, civil, and healthcare projects across Queensland. Station upgrades, aged care, hospital works.

16 years in education and healthcare construction. Started on the tools, so he knows what a realistic programme looks like from the trade’s perspective.

Founders Who Build
VelpasConn was founded by three experienced builders who set out to build the company around every lesson they had learnt.
The founders lead every project. We are on site, we chair meetings, and we review every weekly report before it goes out. We work alongside our project managers, contracts administrators, and site managers.
Our trade partners and professional network are part of the team. The accountability sits with the founders.

Between our founders, we have delivered projects across nearly every commercial construction sector in Queensland and beyond:

- We operate a management model with specialist subcontractors and trade partners. We select and manage every trade on the project, and our Priority Partners approach means we are focused on building long-term relationships with quality trades who want to work with us.

- How does your team stay aligned with the V-Method?
- A.
- The V-Method is how we work, not something we train people on and hope they follow. It is built into the reporting, the project structure, and how we manage every job. Weekly internal reviews keep everything aligned.
